Most merchants come to us in one of three places: launching a first store, stuck on a platform they have outgrown, or running a store nobody has properly maintained in two years. We work in all three.
A store designed around how your customers actually buy — clear product pages, a checkout that does not lose people, and a storefront that loads fast on a phone.
Moving platforms is where stores get hurt — broken URLs, lost customer accounts, orders that never made the jump. We plan the migration before we start it.
The part most agencies skip. Your store keeps changing after launch — new products, new apps, new promotions — and somebody has to own it.
What's Different
Because an online store is one of the most attractive targets a small business owns. It holds customer data, it moves money, and it is tied to the email account attackers want most. We have spent since 2002 defending Las Vegas businesses from exactly those attacks — we do not hand that responsibility to someone else once the store goes live.
Shopify admin, staff permissions, and the email behind them — secured, with MFA enforced. A store takeover usually starts with an inbox, not the storefront.
Shopify carries the heavy PCI burden on checkout. We make sure your configuration, apps, and staff practices do not quietly undo that.
Orders should reach accounting, inventory, and shipping without someone retyping them. We already manage those systems, so we can wire the store into them.

Outside the Valley
Our managed IT work is hands-on and local by design — someone has to be able to stand in your server room. Shopify work is not. Store builds, migrations, theme development, and ongoing storefront support are done entirely remotely, and we do that for merchants outside the Las Vegas valley.
What stays the same is who you deal with: a small American team in Las Vegas, on the phone, in your time zone or close to it. If you are outside Nevada and want a store built or moved, tell us what you are running and we will tell you plainly whether we are the right fit.
Common Questions
It depends on how much of the store is custom. A clean build on a well-chosen theme with your branding, products, and payments configured is a very different project from a custom theme with integrations into your accounting and inventory systems. There is also Shopify's own monthly subscription, which you pay them directly, separate from what you pay us. We scope to what you actually need and quote it before we start — no percentage of revenue, no surprise change orders.
Yes, and it is the part of a migration we plan first. Shopify uses a different URL structure than most platforms, so every product, collection, and content page needs to be mapped to its new address with a permanent 301 redirect. Done properly, the ranking you have built transfers with you. Skipped — which is how most rushed migrations go — you lose traffic that takes months to earn back. We migrate products, customers, and order history alongside it.
For most small and mid-sized businesses we recommend Shopify, because Shopify carries the hosting, security patching, and checkout compliance that a self-hosted WooCommerce store makes your problem. WooCommerce can be the better answer when a store is deeply tied to an existing WordPress site or needs something Shopify will not allow. We will tell you which one fits your situation rather than defaulting to whichever we would rather build.
A focused build on a customized theme typically runs four to eight weeks from kickoff to launch. The schedule usually depends less on development than on product data — photography, descriptions, variants, pricing, and shipping rules. A migration from another platform takes longer because the data mapping and redirect work has to be verified before you switch over. We will give you a realistic timeline after we see your catalog.
You do. The Shopify account is in your business's name, the domain stays registered to you, and the theme code and data are yours. We work as a collaborator on your store. If you ever decide to work with someone else, you remove our access and everything stays exactly where it is — that is how it should work, and it is worth asking any agency before you sign with them.
Yes — that is the main reason merchants come to us instead of a project-based agency. After launch we handle storefront updates, product and content changes, app management, theme fixes when Shopify updates something, and the security side of your admin and staff accounts. You get the same local helpdesk our managed IT clients use, not a ticket queue you never hear back from.
Shopify handles PCI compliance for its own checkout, which removes most of the burden from you — a genuine reason to be on the platform. What remains yours is everything around it: who has admin access, whether those accounts use multi-factor authentication, which third-party apps you have granted data access to, and how your staff handle customer information off the platform. Those are the parts we manage, and they are where merchant breaches actually happen.
Our managed IT and on-site work is Las Vegas and southern Nevada, plus Kingman and Bullhead City. Shopify and e-commerce work is done remotely, so we build and support stores for merchants outside the valley as well. You still deal with the same small team in Las Vegas rather than an offshore contractor.
